CROCHET INSTRUCTIONS

FOR LARYNGECTOMY BIBS

Use cotton lightweight yarn or cotton thread (size 10) with very little lint, the type used in

making bedspreads. Use a # 4 or # 5 steel crochet hook.

Chain 49 stitches, then double crochet in third stitch from hook. Double crochet in each chain

to end of row. Chain two then turn work over. Double crochet in each double crochet to end of

row -- chain 2 -- turn work over and continue these rows until work is a square, (estimated size 5" x 5") then bind off.

Chain stitch a long chain for ties to go around the neck on both corners of one end of the bib.

The bib will resemble an apron for a doll when finished.
